New Condo Projects Off To a Good Start
The latest property projects launched received favorable investor interests despite the recent cooling measures. Its opening launch yesterday managed to secure a healthy percentage of bookings.
The cost of the units sold averaged around $1450 psf which brings the total purchase price to about $700 000 for a 485sq ft unit. A larger unit such as the penthouse, which is about 4200sq ft, is offered at $6.1 million, making Sennett Residence in Potong Pasir among the choice locations on the market.
The Trilinq in Clementi is another project that has managed to draw favorable investor attention. A project with 755 units in total, saw, 85 units sold almost immediately, from the initial 200 units launched.
Leasehold condominiums are currently going for about $1200 – $1600 psf. With more incentives being offered such as the 7 percent discount to help offset a buyers stamp duty and 2 percent early bird specials, these leasehold condominiums are fast gaining investor interests.
80 percent of the buyers were HDB flat residents, making two and three bedroom units the popular choice. Unit sizes ranged from 538sq ft to 1518sq ft. The high success rate of the initial bookings was attributed to the ideal location of the Trilinq project.
Open for viewing only, with launch dates marked for later this month, Bartley Ridge condominiums, had a promising start with a high visitor flow at its show flat.
Urban Vista in Taman Merah and Kingsford in Hillview Peak are among other projects set to be launched later this month.
